Matthew M. Thomas is a newly-named partner of the Graves Thomas Injury Law Group of Vero Beach, Florida. In March 2016, the partnership brought about a new name change for the law firm.
Thomas is “one of the best representations of our law firm’s substance and philosophy,” says founding partner Joseph H. Graves. “This community and our current and future attorneys and staff need look no further than him to know where we are headed.”
Who is Thomas Graves?
Thomas returned to his hometown of Vero Beach three years ago to join with Graves as a practicing attorney. He graduated from Florida State University and Stetson University College of Law. Admitted to the U.S. Southern District of Florida, he is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Justice Association.
Thomas serves injured clients as well as victims of other accidents and illness. Matters in wrongful death, and such areas as premises liability, and negligent security are part of his practice. He is committed to fighting for the rights of the injured and pursuing justice for clients without a voice.
Graves specializes in trial litigation. He is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Graves Thomas Injury Law Group is the epitome of professionalism. Thomas and Graves work with two other injury law attorneys in their practice: Kelly A. Cambron, and Grant R. Gillenwater. The firm’s main office is in Vero Beach with other offices in Port St. Lucie and Melbourne, Florida. The firm follows Graves’ hard-working approach to serving people experiencing the consequences of injuries and disabilities.
Our History
Joe Graves founded the firm a decade ago. He credits his Navy experience with instilling the determination for “getting the job done right.” He says, “Over the years we have stayed true to our personalized, some would say old-fashioned, brand of law. If taking the time to truly know our clients makes us old-fashioned, so be it. When it comes to technology and processes to run our law firm, we are progressive and proactive.”
The firm specializes in veteran services and Graves says they will go the extra distance to make things right for veterans who served their country. On June 15 his firm hosts Veterans’ Law Day, offering free legal advice and a complimentary meal to veterans and active military families.
